DO’S AND DON’TS OF DISABILITY : Avoiding those Awkward Moments

There Is no greater disability in life, than the inability to see the person as more!

In this video I discuss how to approach someone with a disability, especially if they are not used to socialising with someone who has one.

I talk from first hand experience as someone who has had a disability, due to an accident I had five years ago, where I broke my neck, leaving me paralysed from the chest down. Since then, I’ve noticed a shift in how some, not all, people react to me, which is what prompted me to do this.

I decided to make this video, to help people who don’t have a disability, so to avoid awkwardness and put in good stead.

I discuss some practical advice you will need when meeting someone with a disability for the first time or a disabled colleague in the work place. I hope you find this beneficial.

Please take this opportunity to check out all my other videos and give them all a thumbs up if you like them.

Thanks for watching Heidi Xx
